At Design Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality office interior design education. We stand behind our courses and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds are available and the process for requesting them.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
2.1 Eligibility
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all course purchases. If you are not satisfied with a course, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date, provided you meet the following conditions:
- The refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date
- You have completed less than 30% of the course content
- You have not downloaded more than 30% of the downloadable course materials
- You have not received a certificate of completion for the course
- This is your first refund request with Design Academy (multiple refund requests may be declined)
2.2 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the 30-day period, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your full name, order number, and course name
- Briefly explain the reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)
- We will respond to your request within 3-5 business days
2.3 Processing Time
Once your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed
3. After 30 Days
After the 30-day guarantee period has expired, refunds are generally not available. However, we may consider exceptions in extraordinary circumstances, such as:
- Technical issues that prevented you from accessing the course for an extended period
- Severe medical emergencies or unforeseen personal circumstances
- Significant errors or omissions in the course content

4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items and circumstances are not eligible for refunds:
- Courses purchased during promotional sales or with discount codes (unless otherwise stated)
- Courses where you have completed more than 30% of the content
- Courses for which you have received a certificate of completion
- Downloadable resources after they have been downloaded more than 30% of the total
- Individual course modules or lessons (refunds apply to complete courses only)
- Access fees or subscription renewals (where applicable)
- Gift purchases made on behalf of another person
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago (unless exceptional circumstances apply)
5. Course Bundles and Packages
If you purchase a course bundle or package:
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the bundle purchase date
- The 30% completion rule applies to the bundle as a whole, not individual courses
- Partial refunds for individual courses within a bundle are not available
- All courses in the bundle will become inaccessible upon refund

If you experience technical difficulties accessing course content:

- We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
- The 30-day refund period may be extended if technical issues prevent access for an extended time
- Refunds for technical issues are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Please note that technical issues caused by your equipment, internet connection, or software incompatibility are not grounds for refund unless we are unable to provide a reasonable solution.
7. Content Updates and Changes
We regularly update course content to ensure relevance and accuracy. Content updates do not constitute grounds for a refund. By purchasing a course, you acknowledge that:
- Course content may be updated or modified at any time
- Specific modules or lessons may be added, removed, or reorganized
- Changes are made to improve course quality and value
- You will have access to updated content as long as your course access remains active
8. Chargeback Policy
If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company or bank instead of contacting us directly:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- Access to all purchased courses will be revoked
- Your personal information may be reported to relevant authorities if fraud is suspected
- You may be barred from making future purchases
We strongly encourage you to contact us first to resolve any payment disputes. We are committed to working with you to find a fair resolution.
9. Promotional and Discounted Purchases
Courses purchased at a promotional or discounted price:
- Are subject to the same 30-day money-back guarantee
- Refunds will be issued for the amount actually paid, not the regular price
- Some promotional offers may have specific refund restrictions (clearly stated at time of purchase)
- Limited-time offers and flash sales may have modified refund terms
10. Gift Purchases
If you purchased a course as a gift for someone else:
- The refund request must come from the original purchaser, not the gift recipient
- The 30-day period begins from the date of purchase, not when the gift was redeemed
- If the recipient has already accessed significant course content, the refund may be denied
- Refunded amounts will be returned to the original purchaser's payment method
11. Subscription and Membership Refunds
If we offer subscription-based access or membership programs:
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges
- Refunds for the current billing period are subject to the 30-day guarantee (from the most recent billing date)
- No refunds are provided for previous billing periods
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
12. Course Discontinuation
If we discontinue a course that you have purchased:
- You will receive advance notice when possible
- You may receive a prorated refund based on the remaining access period
- We may offer equivalent alternative courses at no additional cost
- Already downloaded materials remain yours to keep
13. Refund Processing and Currency
All refunds are processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued in the original currency of purchase
- Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are not refunded
- Payment processing fees are not refunded
- The refund amount may be slightly less than the purchase amount due to transaction fees
14. Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds for:
- Individual lessons or modules within a course
- Specific features or materials you did not use
- Portions of the course you have already completed
- Time-based access periods after access has been granted
Refunds are provided on a per-course basis only.
15. Account Closure Upon Refund
When a refund is issued:
- Your access to the refunded course is immediately revoked
- Any certificates issued for the course become invalid
- Downloaded materials should be deleted (though we cannot enforce this)
- Your account remains active for other purchased courses (if any)
- You may repurchase the course in the future if desired
16. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:
- You may request a review by contacting our customer service team
- Provide any additional information or documentation that supports your case
- We will conduct a thorough review and respond within 5-7 business days
- Our final decision will be communicated via email
17. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will:

- Take effect immediately upon posting
- Apply to purchases made after the modification date
- Not affect refund requests for purchases made before the modification

We trust our students and want everyone to have a positive experience. However, we reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect patterns of abuse, including:
- Multiple refund requests across different courses
- Completing most of a course before requesting a refund
- Downloading all materials and then requesting a refund
- Requesting refunds after obtaining certificates
- Sharing course content with others before requesting a refund
